Dear Mrs. & Mr. Sam Brown,

I am thankful to you for allowing me to work with your child for this academic year. My name is Ana Smith and I will be teaching your child Science this year. I am happy to have your child in my class and I am waiting to have an exciting year teaching him this wonderful subject. For this year, we have planned some interesting ways of making this subject of Science all the more engaging for the students. Studies will not be limited just to regular classroom teaching as we plan to include various other activities to make learning more engaging and fun for the children. We will be conducting different small experiments to help them understand the concepts in a much better manner. This year our goal is to make it a successful and cheerful year of learning for kids.

We have come up with an exclusive format for our Science class. Though there is a pattern that will be followed but children will be given all the room to select their own projects as per their choice. Other than the regular homework, we will be giving them additional assignments that will help them have better learning. We also intend to organize different quiz and other competitions to make sure that while learning the subject children are also able to build up their confidence and creativity. Another thing that we are planning to create semester-wise teams in the class to have a healthy competition and with each semester, there will be a fresh team so that children can get an opportunity to work under different kinds of teams.

I strongly believe that in the start of every class, I thoroughly discuss each semester’s syllabus with the class so that they are aware of what lies ahead of them and we will mutually decide on the rules of learning in the class so that all the students find them to be a part of the class.

I always appreciate students when they come up with questions and queries and that is something I will be focusing on throughout this year. The idea here is to make them learn the subject but not in a conventional way. I aspire to make each and every Science class an interesting one for them so that they can learn and prosper with time. As we all know that Science is all about logics and reasons and that’s what I aim to inculcate in my students.

At the end, I would like to mention that as parents and teachers, we must always be open to have a healthy communication as it will always be benefiting our children. You are certainly my ears and eyes at home and in case, you find your child having a tough time, please motivate them to come up to me or ask me questions and I will be happy to help.

I am delighted to collaborate with your child to make this academic year a successful one.

In case you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [email protected].

Introduction Email to Parents from Teacher

Date: February 15th, 2021

Dear Parents,

My name is Ana Smith and for this academic year, I will be teaching your child English Literature. I am thankful to you for giving me this opportunity and I am very happy to have your child in my class. I look forward for a year full of learning and fun with your child.

To make this year a lot more interesting for students, I have come up with various unique ideas so that they can enjoy English Literature and not just read it. I intend to divide the class into different groups and conduct various activities that will involve researching about different famous authors and poets. I also plan to organize plays for them which will not only help them learn the subject better but also groom themselves for stage presence and performance.

The conventional way of studying literature is something that we all know but I aspire to make it more challenging as well as engaging. Therefore, I will be focusing on a lot of extra reading, other than what we have in the syllabus as reading forms an integral part of literature and also gives a great exposure to young minds.

Before starting with my academic year, I always discuss the syllabus with all my students so that they have an understanding of what all they are going to be learning in this year. Along with all the students, I aim to come up with the kind of learning pattern students will be comfortable with to work as a team with all of them.

As parents, I would request you to always encourage your children to ask questions in the class. Motivate them to participate and in case they have any problem, ask them to come to me and I will take care of the issues. My aim is to make each and every English literature session full of learning and fun for them and without your support, it will not be possible.

Before I end this letter, I would to mention that in order to give your child the best of learning and growth, we have to work in coordination. Please feel free to bring into my notice if your child is facing any difficulties in learning and I will be happy to help.

I am delighted to collaborate with your child to make this academic year a successful one.

In case you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [email protected].

Sincerely,

Ana Smith
