Respected Sir,

I, Amy Robinson, have been associated with Daily School as a librarian from last eight years. Since the times I have been holding the office, there have been times when funds sanctioned for the library were not enough and that certainly affected the collection of books at the library.

I would like to bring to your notice that from last three years there has been no increment in the grants sanctioned to the library and because of which I feel that our collection of books needs to be updated as early as possible. There are so many academic as well as other books that are missing from our library and so many other books that need to be replaced as they are not in a good condition but because of lack of funds, we have not been able to cater to these requirements.

With times changing and the world becoming more and more competitive, students need more exposure and books are the best way for them to become more aware of their surroundings. I have noticed that students at our school are interested in reading books as our teachers always inspire them to indulge in reading but because of unavailability of new books, they find themselves saturated when they want to read, both on the academic front as well as otherwise.

I believe that we must take into account this need of our students as it will help them study better and shine better in their lives. And by sanctioning an increased amount, we will be able to purchase all the books that I feel that should be a part of our library.
