Letter Format to Boss to Increase Sale Target

If you think that the sales target are too low and you feel that they should be higher then you can always write a letter to the boss to increase sales target. This is going to be a simple letter which must include reasons for making these increments and how much increment is suitable to be made.

In this post, we have come up with a sample letter to boss to increase sale target. This sales target letter to boss is just like a sales target letter to employee and is supposed to be short and precise.

Dear Mr. Henry,

Greetings!

I am writing this letter to bring to your notice that the sales targets that have been rolled out for the upcoming quarter are on the lower side and therefore, I would like to request you to kindly increase them by at least 20 per cent.

As you are aware that the sales target for the last quarter was 100 units for one sales executive and they all were able to meet the targets by the end of the second month of the quarter itself. I would also like to highlight that this was possible because of the marketing campaign that was launched by our company which has certainly aided in making the sales easier and faster.

I would therefore, recommend to increase the sales target for the coming quarter and revise them to 130 units as it is going to be a little challenging for the team and I am sure that they will be able to achieve these targets if they are going to work a little harder. I also feel that too easy targets are going to make them laid back in their work and this is certainly not a good idea.

I am hopeful that you are going to consider the point I have put forward in this letter and I will be happy to have a further discussion on this matter.

Looking forward for your response.

Thanking you.

Sincerely,

Richard Smith
