Job Decline Letter

An applicant writes this job decline letter to the company from which he/she received a job offer in respect of the application. The writer needs a valid reason to decline the job offer made by a company. The tone of the letter should be polite to present your thoughts before the reader. The declining may include reasons like doing a job at present or some other reasons that satisfy the company. You need to handle professionally this letter without hurting the image of the organization.

In the example of job decline letter, an applicant writes this letter to a company to inform them that he cannot accept the job offer as he is working for another company and the terms do not allow him to be a part of the concerned company.

To whom it may concern:

I am writing this letter in respect of your job offer sent by you for a position of your company. I would like to thank you, but I cannot accept the offer as I have already signed a contract with another company. I regret to decline this offer, as I know whoever got the chance to be a part of your company, he/she would be happy to serve you.

My present working terms do not allow me to accept this offer, so this declination is not personal. I hope it is not our last communication and in the future, I will be available to work for you.

Once again, thank you for considering me for the post of your company.

Yours truly,

Mary Graf
