8 Tips to write a Business Enquiry Letter

We have provided some tips for writing business enquiry letter to help you compose your own.

  • Start with your information at the top including your name, title (if applicable), name of the organization (if applicable), address and phone number. Afterwards add the same information about the reader of your letter.
  • Put the current date on the left side few line beneath of the address of the both parties.
  • Write a short and meaningful subject line to give a more professional look to your letter. This serves as a one line information about the whole letter writing
  • Start your letter with a proper formal salutation. You can write a simple dear and put the name of the person or company.
  • Write the body of the letter with a specific and to the point notion. Give your company’s brief introduction in the opening paragraph of the business letter. The second paragraph is the place where you can explain in detail about the question you are putting or the purpose you are writing this letter. Provide a list of information with a summary of the letter by offering gratitude for their respond in the last paragraph.
  • Close your letter with “Yours sincerely” or “Sincerely” or you can consider “Cordially,” “Respectfully,” “Regards” and “Yours Truly.” For a Slight less formal but still professional closings.
  • Read your letter carefully after writing to correct the mistakes.
  • Sign your business enquiry letter after proofreading and add your name, phone number, email address and other contact information below it.
