Sub: Request to Return Security Deposits

Dear Sir,

I, John Smith, am currently serving my notice period. I was employed with your prestigious company for last four years and had a wonderful time learning so many new things and walking up the ladder with the guidance of my team leaders. This place has become my place of inspiration where I would always feel motivated to work harder in life.

I am writing this letter to request you for the refund of my security deposit. As per the policy of the company, it has my security deposits which amount to my two month salary. By the end of the month, my notice period will also end and I will be shifting to another city where I have taken up a new job. Therefore, I request to please have my refund processed at the earliest so that the formalities end before I depart from the city.

Thanking you and looking forward for a quick action from your side.

Sincerely,

John Smith
