10 Tips to write a Business Recognition Letter

Here are some tips to write a business recognition letter for your guidance.

  • Write your letter in a warm and polite tone to make it more impactful.
  • It should be short, straight forward and simple in manner.
  • Address directly to the individual rather than his/her designation or post.
  • Do not forget to add a subject line. Write a crisp and meaningful subject line that it would look very professional in the context.
  • After the salutation you can start writing the purpose of your letter. Add some line to praise the individual for his/her efforts.
  • Close your recognition letter with a closing, like the salutation. It indicates the respect and formality. “Yours sincerely” or “Sincerely” is generally used closing. You can also consider “Cordially,” “Respectfully,” “Regards” and “Yours Truly.”. These are slightly less formal but still professional.
  • You can include “All the best,” “Best wishes,” “Warm regards,” and “Thank you.” As per the requirement of the letter. Thereafter sign it.
  • Add your name, phone number, email address underneath your signature.
  • If you have enclosed any document along with your business letter, include “Enclosures.”
  • Proofreading is advisable to correct the spelling and grammar errors in the letter.
